Sean Penn may have the respect and accolades of the Academy, but he’ll have to work a little harder to impress Snooty and Goon. This latest entry into the 50+ action star subgenre could have used a little more script polish, some better editing, and a camera operator not currently suffering from a personal earthquake. But on the plus side, if you’ve ever wanted to see Sean Penn shirtless and holding a surfboard, your dreams have finally come true.
