Snooty and Goon: Jem and the Holograms

It takes a brave music producer to hire a blind image consultant, but Starlight Records has that kind of courage.

It takes a brave music producer to hire a blind image consultant, but Starlight Records just has that much courage.

The Jem adaptation truly, truly, truly comes to the big screen minus some of its more outlandish components. Snooty and Goon will have to decide if a reduced budget prevents the film from capturing the soul of 80s Glam Rock, or if these plucky teens and their cumulative twenty pounds of eyeshadow have what it takes.

Snooty and Goon: The Walk

"I can make that jump."

“I can make that jump.”

Snooty and Goon take a walk through history with this sticky-sweet adaptation of the daring wire walk at the Twin Towers. It strolled through the festival circuit, and now the movie is stepping up to wide-release in theaters. Even still, I think The Martian will still keep this one underfoot.
